Operational brief
Design & Technical Documentation
Detailed system engineering and technical documentation that allows residential technology to integrate seamlessly with the architectural and interior design. Each scheme is supported by coordinated wiring layouts, technical elevations, equipment schedules, and schematics to provide precise guidance. By defining systems thoroughly at the design stage, ambiguity is reduced, site queries are minimised, and the technology's intended performance is protected.
Project Management
For large projects such as complete refurbishments or new-builds, especially those where complex whole-house systems are to be installed, we'll represent the client’s interests from start to completion. Working collaboratively with the client and design team, we can assist with selecting a suitable installer or integrator, review tender submissions, and help choose the right partner for the project. Ongoing technical oversight will ensure the selected integrator delivers in line with the agreed design intent, performance objectives, and expected standard.
Project oversight
Operating on behalf of the client and project administrator, we'll maintain general oversight for the implementation of home technology and ensure the chosen integrator meets the agreed scope and performance brief.
Choosing the right partner
We'll generate an operational and technical brief for tender. Once the tenders are in, we'll review these on your behalf and identify the most suitable responses. We'll attend any interview and make sure the right questions are asked.
Programming & Commissioning
Specialist services are available as client-direct or freelance services for smart home integrators.
Networking, audio-visual, and smart home programming services exclusively for AV and smart home integrators, supporting projects that require advanced functionality and reliable deployment. Expertise in Control4 and Lutron HomeWorks enables program development before deployment, remote configuration, and on-site commissioning support. Whether it's implementing complex automation or preparing systems for final handover, programming is delivered with precision to enhance the user experience.
